Yamaha DM5 Digital Mixing Console

The Yamaha DM5 is a Dante-equipped professional digital mixing console designed for small to mid-sized live sound, corporate events, houses of worship, theatre and broadcast applications. It brings the DM7 series workflow and user experience to a compact platform.

The DM5 features twin fader bays with 26 faders, two 13.3-inch multi-touch main screens with glass keys and two 4.3-inch touchscreens. It provides 32 analogue inputs, 16 analogue outputs and processing for 60 mono input channels.

Both DM5 Series models support up to 64 channels in and out of Dante networking at 96 kHz, 24 Mix buses, 12 Matrix buses, 2 Stereo buses, 12 DCAs and 18 channels of USB audio I/O. A PY Series card slot supports optional processing and I/O expansion.

Channel processing includes four EQ types with real-time analyser and an extensive dynamics library. A 16-slot onboard effects rack provides 43 effects, including eight delay types and reverbs. Yamaha Assist functions support setup tasks, while DM Editor, DM StageMix, MonitorMix and ProVisionaire Control Plus provide compatible software control workflows.
