The TT 808-AS is a compact, low-profile, high-performance active subwoofer. It features two vented 8-inch cone woofers powered by a two-channel 1000 W amplifier, with one amplifier channel dedicated to each woofer.
The Baltic birch plywood enclosure is finished in black polyurea and features weather-resistant treatment. System management and tuning are available through RDNet software or from the rear control panel using the preset, polarity and variable-delay controls.
Rubber feet on two sides and two threaded pole mounts allow the TT 808-AS to operate horizontally or vertically. Two stabilising brackets provide secure vertical placement. It can be used as a standalone subwoofer, within a subwoofer array or as the low-frequency extension for the TT 515-A / KX 515-A.
Legendary Woofers
RCF subwoofers are widely used by professional sound engineers for their high output at low frequencies, compact dimensions and strong size-to-weight-to-SPL ratio.
Self-powered operation, RDNet remote control and straightforward subwoofer array configuration, including cardioid arrangements, make the TT 808-AS suitable for portable and installed sound systems.

A Little Subwoofer with Superpowers
The amplifier incorporates a low-noise 32-bit DSP controlled through RCF RDNet networked management software. Internal processing manages soft clipping, RMS limiting, polarity, level, delay and equalisation.
RDNet provides access to system settings, monitoring and advanced tools such as the subwoofer array configurator. The rear control panel provides volume, low-pass, TT 515-A / KX 515-A crossover and bypass controls.
The regulated power supply provides full amplifier output from 100 V to 260 V. The amplifier is mounted on a Vibrostop floating aluminium panel for additional protection during transportation.
Internal DSP processing includes equalisation, delay, crossover filters and Bass Motion Control for coherent sound distribution, reduced phase distortion and deep, controlled bass at any output level.

Bass Motion Control
Bass Motion Control is RCF’s advanced woofer-excursion management system. It allows the TT 808-AS to reproduce low audible frequencies while maintaining woofer stability, extended linearity and sound integrity.
The system maps the dynamic behaviour of the woofer and applies a customised algorithm that limits only excessive excursion. This gives the transducer greater freedom to reproduce low-frequency signals.
Conventional high-pass filters protect woofers from damaging excursion but can alter phase behaviour. Bass Motion Control instead manages excursion while preserving a more natural phase and frequency response.
Built for Everyday Use
The cabinet is manufactured from high-quality Baltic birch plywood with a weather-resistant exterior treatment. Its lightweight, stackable design includes eight M10 threaded inserts for flexible rigging.
Two M20 threaded pole mounts positioned on the top and side allow vertical or horizontal operation. Rubber feet are fitted on both sides, while two stabilising brackets provide firm vertical placement.
A heavy-duty coating, powder-coated steel grille and rugged cabinet construction provide protection during long-term use and transportation. The amplifier is housed separately to support component efficiency and reliability.
Acoustically transparent foam fitted behind the grille helps protect the internal components from dust and moisture.
A Stunning Sound System
Pair the TT 515-A / KX 515-A with the TT 808-AS to extend the low-frequency response and create a powerful full-range sound system with an exceptionally small footprint.
Multiple configuration options, onboard DSP and RDNet remote management allow the system to be adapted to venues and applications of many different sizes.
Good Things Come in Small Packages
The TT+ Series delivers uncompromising fidelity and power with a consistent sonic signature. Phase and frequency compatibility across TT+ loudspeakers helps create a cohesive sound system in a wide range of applications.
An Unobstructed Stage
The compact TT 515-A / KX 515-A and TT 808-AS system provides powerful sound without blocking critical sightlines. Its small dimensions make it suitable for tight spaces, compact stages and portable productions.
A complete stereo system comprising two TT 515-A / KX 515-A loudspeakers, two TT 808-AS subwoofers, poles and cables can be packed into less than 200 litres of volume.
RDNet Networked Control
RDNet is an advanced platform for integrated monitoring and control of sound systems, from small live and installed systems through to large arena installations.
Its networked architecture combines system control, line-array design and audio measurement tools within a single software platform.
Engineers and technicians can manage individual devices or complete groups from a central interface. RDNet provides access to the DSP functions of compatible products, flexible configuration tools and real-time monitoring of key operating parameters.
