Flexibility, power and compactness make the KX 515-A ideal for installed and portable professional applications where size and weight are critical factors. It combines controlled dispersion, outstanding clarity, extreme power, flexible rigging accessories, weather-resistant protection and RDNet real-time monitoring and management with recallable presets.
Its transducer configuration pairs two custom-loaded 5-inch cone drivers with a rotatable CMD waveguide surrounding a 1.75-inch titanium-dome high-frequency compression driver. Whether used as a compact main system, fill speaker or surround speaker within a larger system, the KX 515-A is quick to deploy and fast to tune.
A 2000 Watt Speaker That Can Fit in Your Palm
The two-channel 2000 W peak, 1000 W RMS amplifier is compact, ultra-silent and fanless. Producing a maximum SPL of 127 dB, the KX 515-A is ideal for immersive audio, nearfield systems and productions that demand exceptional sound quality.
The rotatable 100° × 70° coverage pattern reaches a wide area while matching the directivity of the woofers. The internal DSP includes comprehensive transducer protection, FiRPHASE processing and Bass Motion Control for coherent sound distribution, minimal phase distortion and deep, controlled bass at any volume.

A Stunning Sound System
Pair the KX 515-A with the SUB 808-AS subwoofer to extend its low-frequency response and create a powerful full-range main system with an incredibly small footprint. Multiple configuration options, powerful DSP and RDNet remote management allow the system to suit venues of many different sizes.
Good Things Come in Small Packages
The KX Series delivers uncompromising fidelity and power with a consistent sonic signature. Its phase and frequency compatibility across the KX range helps create a cohesive listening experience in a wide variety of applications.
An Unobstructed Stage
The KX 515-A provides powerful sound without blocking critical sightlines. Its compact dimensions make it suitable for tight spaces, small stages and portable productions.
A complete stereo system comprising two KX 515-A speakers, two SUB 808-AS subwoofers, poles and cables can be packed into less than 200 litres of volume.
100° × 70° Rotatable Constant-Directivity Waveguide
The CMD horn can be rotated in the field using only a screwdriver, allowing the loudspeaker’s coverage pattern to suit horizontal or vertical installation.
Low Frequency
Two 5-inch cone drivers operate with a custom-designed phase plug to improve midrange efficiency and extend horizontal coverage. Their dispersion matches the waveguide around the crossover point for smooth and consistent coverage.
High Frequency
The high-performance 1.75-inch titanium-dome compression driver is mounted on a rotatable 100° × 70° constant-directivity waveguide. This combination provides precise control over directional characteristics and improves intelligibility in challenging acoustic environments.

RDNet Networked Control

RDNet is an advanced platform for integrated monitoring and control of sound systems, ranging from small live and installed systems to large arena installations. Its networked architecture combines system control, line array design and audio measurement tools within a single software platform.
Engineers and technicians can manage individual devices or complete groups from a central interface. RDNet provides access to the DSP functions of compatible devices, flexible system configuration and real-time monitoring of key operating parameters.
Robust and Durable
The enclosure is manufactured from high-quality Baltic birch plywood, bonded with water-resistant adhesive and coated in durable polyurea paint. This construction provides resistance to moisture, ultraviolet exposure, corrosion, abrasion, impacts and mechanical stress.
A solid machined-aluminium structure improves cabinet rigidity while dissipating amplifier heat without a fan. High-strength structural-steel rigging provides secure load support, while die-cast aluminium handles with ergonomic rubber grips improve portability.
- Reinforced structural design
- Water-resistant Baltic birch enclosure

- High-strength steel rigging
- Ergonomic handles
- Machined-aluminium heat sink
Built for Everyday Use
Use the KX 515-A as a compact main loudspeaker or to supplement a larger system. The high-strength Baltic birch enclosure is finished in robust, scratch-resistant polyurea paint.
The rear amplifier assembly is attached to a solid machined-aluminium structure for efficient heat dissipation and improved cabinet stiffness. A powder-coated steel grille protects the front of the loudspeaker, while acoustically transparent foam behind the grille helps protect the transducers from dust and moisture.
Rig It Anywhere
Multiple rigging accessories and the compact cabinet design allow the KX 515-A to be suspended or mounted on poles, trusses, walls and ceilings. It can be installed horizontally or vertically at a wide range of angles. The rotatable waveguide and logo provide appropriate coverage and presentation in either orientation.
The Quick-Fit socket supports compatible clamp mounts, pole mounts and horizontal brackets. Two M10 mounting points on the top and bottom of the cabinet provide additional installation options.
Tour-Ready Construction
The amplifier is mounted to a solid machined-aluminium rear structure for efficient fanless heat dissipation. The internally reinforced enclosure and weather-resistant powerCON TRUE1 TOP mains connectors are designed for dependable use in demanding portable and outdoor applications.
Digital Signal Processing
The KX DSP platform is RCF’s next-generation audio engine for active loudspeakers and DSP amplifiers. Designed as a real-time processing engine, it provides high processing density and scalability for advanced system control and loudspeaker optimisation.
Bass Motion Control
Bass Motion Control allows KX loudspeakers to reproduce low frequencies while maintaining woofer stability, linearity and sound integrity. The system maps the dynamic behaviour of the woofer and applies a customised algorithm that controls excessive excursion.
Traditional high-pass filters can protect a woofer from over-excursion while also altering its phase and frequency response. Bass Motion Control protects the woofer while preserving greater freedom in low-frequency signal reproduction.
A New Perspective on Linearity
KX loudspeakers use RCF’s proprietary FiRPHASE technology to produce transparent sound, clear imaging and consistent coverage. FiRPHASE corrects phase and amplitude response while maintaining low system latency.
The processing accounts for transducer behaviour as well as resonances and cancellations introduced by the loudspeaker enclosure, helping distribute coherent sound throughout the listening area.
