Shipping costs

We offer free nationwide shipping on small parcels not exceeding 20kg in weight. However, a handling fee of $15.00 per order applies.

Postage fees apply to parcels over 20kg in deeming (very bulky but lightweight goods) or physical weight. Please contact us prior to purchase and we will provide you with a shipping quote. Discounts on postage may also apply for multiple items.

All items are sent with either Startrack Express, TNT or Australia Post. Please note that JD’s Sound and Lighting will not accept liability for goods that are lost or damaged in transit. Any damage must be noted upon delivery of the goods when delivery is signed. No damage claim can be made if the delivery is signed for "as received in good condition". Please check the item before signing.

Delivery Timeframe

At JD’s Sound and Lighting, we stock 95% of the products advertised on our website, which means that we can dispatch the goods within 1-2 business days. Shipping within Australia usually takes 1-7 business days depending on location. If there are any delays associated with dispatching the order we will notify you as soon as possible.

All deliveries from JD's Sound and Lighting are made through 3rd party business such as Australia Post, TNT, Startrack Express or Freeway, therefore JD's Sound and Lighting can not be held accountable for any delays in delivery. We provide tracking details as soon as the order is dispatched and deliveries can be tracked online.

All deliveries require a signature on delivery unless the customer gives us special instructions to leave the parcel without the signature. In case where there is an authority to leave instruction JD's Sound and Lighting can not be held accountable for any loss or damage.
